What Are You Waiting For?

I was thinking this morning about all the things I am waiting to do. I am waiting to have lunch with a group of my friends until my schedule clears up and I have an opening. Why is it I don’t just schedule that lunch? Why do I let what I feel my responsibilities of my career take over my life? I am waiting to take my husband to Vegas to see the Blue Man group once our kids are out of college and self sufficient. What if we die tomorrow and he never gets to see the group he wants to see, what would be the point if we don’t have fun along the way? We waited to buy a new couch until the kids moved out, three boys and their friends are hard on a couch. We love the couch and there is really no reason we could not have had new one earlier and then got a new one after the kids moved out. How many of you are waiting to invite friends over until you have new carpet? Then what, will you wait for new appliances?  Is new carpet or appliances more important than spending time with friends or family? So, what are you waiting for, give to yourself and allow for the stuff you want to do before you don’t have any time left to do it.
